Sheyi Lawale
Sheyi is from Nigeria. She is married to Wole. Her role is as a leader, organiser and oversees the effective running of the iGi:crew on an iGi Sunday. She is also involved in mentoring some of the girls within iGi and is responsible for their pastoral care.

Job when not doing iGi stuff: GCSE Student

Favourites:
• music: Hillsong and Hillsong United stuff, anything worshippy! Jack Johnson, U2, Bon Jovi, Third Day, Mercyme, the list goes on and on...i like most things really!
• book: there are so many!am reading a lot of worship books at the moment though.
• TV: Friends, Lost, Aussie soaps, I'm pretty easy going and will watch anything - as long as it's not too scary!

Likes: serving God, music, Summer, Cornwall, the beach, hanging out with friends.
Dislikes: milk (I have a slight phobia of it!), Reading (sorry guys...but where's the beach!)
Hopes: to keep serving God and impacting people, to fully compleate everything God has set out for me wherever that may take me.

  Wole Lawale
Wole was brought up in Nigeria and arrived in England to study at university. However he met Sheyi and the rest, as they say, is history. Wole is one of our main setup and pack down engineers. He assists to maintain the spirit of excellence within iGi. Wole is a great example to the guys within iGi, and a fantastic role model. Wole is instrumental to the success of our amazing weekends away.

Sia Komba
Sia is from Sierra Leone and has lived in Reading since 1997 when she came to do her BA (when God puts you somewhere, it is for a reason!). Sia is brilliant with words and is our resident poet (checkout some of her stuff here). Not only does Sia do poetry but she co-ordinates all the iGi:life stuff and is involved in the interior design of iGi Sunday's.

Job when not doing iGi stuff: French teacher

Favourite:
• food: GOOD food like Haagen Das ice cream, Mr Jerks (Carribean in London) and of course things like lasagne (home made)
• book: God Chicks by Holly Wagner
• TV: no favourites really, like to follow CNN's insight on world issues as well as Friends! Varied taste!

Likes: cooking, reading a good book, Hagen Daaz ice cream and sale shopping!
Dislikes: Big Brother and untidiness!
Hopes: to see young people living for God as if it is the latest fragrance, or fashion trend with no reservations at all. For iGi to grow into something so big that the youth in Reading will flock to the brightness of its light as moths do (I’m not calling anyone of you moths though!)

On a personal note, I would like to make a difference in the lives of children worldwide by developing GOOD education programmes, once I have mastered the art of teaching well! (Pray for me please!!)

Javon is a proper Readingite. Javon is a gifted dancer and as such he co-ordinates the dance team. He makes sure that all the dance routines are co-ordinated and are decent - if you know what I mean! He has a real passion to see young people express themselves in dance as worship to God.

Leslie Fredericks
Leslie is from Trinidad. Leslie is the venue co-ordinator, which means that she makes the place look good! Every time you come to iGi you will be met with something new! Leslie's creativity and imagination transforms the meeting place into a warm, welcoming and funky atmosphere.

Favourite:
• music: I enjoy a variety of music including R&B, gospel, jazz and soul, just to name a few
• book: Any book which is motivational and
inspirational including John Maxwell and TD Jakes. I also enjoy reading thrillers such as John Grisham
• TV: Programmes which are inspirational. I also enjoy the show 24 because you never know what to expect and it keeps me on the edge of my seat

Likes: I enjoy reading, travelling, entertaining and spending time with friends or people who are empire builders with no limits on their vision spiritually, physically, personally or socially
Dislikes: People who are always negative because God wants so much more for them
Hopes: To be the best that I can be on a daily basis in fulfilling God's purpose and plan for my life.
